Decided to go ahead and post more photos of my new property I bought last week. Just couldn't pass this up. I'm already in the process of remodeling it: sand, stain and finish the oak block flooring in the living room, hallway and two bedroom; repaint all rooms; sand and re-paint cabinets; replace some doors, and replace some fixtures. It's a very sound little house, and in pretty good condition. It has two fireplaces---one real, one fake. Both have gas logs.
When I'm done this will be my daughter's home. I'll be glad to get her out of the neighborhood she's in now. Despite the theft of the AC, this house is in a very, very safe and desirable location.
About four of the five acres are covered with huge pine trees that may worth a buck or two in the near future. That's also a bad thing: a couple dozen of these big trees are close around the house. They've gotta go. Another thing that's gotta go is that awful pink outside trim.
