If you figure the sickle is sharp and in good condition and the guards & ledger plates are also sharp and not to bent up most likely it is going to cut grass if it will cut paper. From my memory we used the mower until it broke all apart and we fixed it and used it more until it needed repair again. People on Implement Forum are bring back the Horse drawn mowers and putting them back to use and they are maybe twice as old as this C21 mower.Cleddy
