I pull the whole lower hood section along with the instrument panel as a lot of the wires run in behind and hydraulic valves. Have to unhook choke cable, tach cable and oil pressure pipe but the temp gauge should have enough slack to pull whole thing back to get at things. The operators manual shows really good diagrams of the wiring, where it should run etc on those old tractors.
