Just purchased a 1950 Cub and have a problem raising & lowering the front mounted snow plow.Whereas the action should be smooth & controllable, mine has a very jerky & intermittant movement.I've cleaned/greased everything externally & there is no binding in any of the linkages. Does the hydraulic unit & lines need to be bled?If so, whats the best procedure? Also, what kind of oil is best for the hydraulic unit? I've been told 30 wt engine oil,ATF,hyd jack oil, etc.Any advise/comments will be appreciated.
