Super M - loose cam gear

Well I finally got enough parts removed to get at the loose cam gear on my Super M. Originally suspected a broken cam gear hub, but when I pulled the timing gear cover off, the camshaft nut and keeper dropped neatly onto the ground. All that was keeping the cam gear on the shaft was the cover. A couple hundred hours running like this has chewed up the cam key, keyway, cam gear hub, and chipped a tooth on the governor idler gear. Amazing the tractor still ran. In fact it ran very well - other than a knock at idle - in this condition. Link below has several images of what it looks like inside. ...Bob M
