This will help. The Kill switch is actually an ignition switch. it supplies voltage to the coil. It should only control the coil supply, no other components should be in that circuit. The cutout relay in the voltage regulator (if it is equipped) or the cutout relay (stand alone) with 4 position light and charge control switch, Eliminate battery drain when stopped.
