Well I took the pump off for a rebuild. I found the gear was wobbling on the shaft a little bit. The washer was bent up to hold the nut from backing off and the key was in place. The nut was only finger tight though. So I figured some one hadn"t put it back together right and bought a used pump. Now the other pump is slightly different style. Will bolt up and work fine. However the drive gear is in exactly the same shape. It is a little loose and wobbling on the shaft. So is it normal for that gear to wobble a little? If it is I will probably just use the original pump, do to wear patterns on the gears. I haven"t tried IH yet but can I source a new gear?
