My injector pump startred leaking fuel into the crank cass. I pulled the injector pump off and didn"t move the gears in any form or fashion until i put the pump back on. Now its out of time. Having pulled the pump bsck off i set the timing off the crank at 14 dbtdc. The gear that goes on the pump has numbers on it. The number 4 is suppose to point toward about 7 o"clock looking toward the rear of the tractor. I can"t move this gear to make it line up and my timing still be set right. I found the line up marks in the injector pump and have them set. From what i can see the slot in the gear for the key way would line up with the gear if i could get the gear to 7 o"clock and the timing mark stsy put. I can"t turn the gear to make it line up without removing the front off the engine from the looks of things. help! thanks.
