Derrick you have asked one of the more lively questions on this board. The only question you could ask and get more answers on is what spark plug to use.
I am pretty much an old fashioned guy, and I use HD 30 in the summer, and hd 10 in the winter. However, any of the previous posts are also good suggestions. And since I keep my Cub in a heated garage, I just use HD 30 year round (I use the Cub for snow plowing). My other tractors are not in heated buildings, so they get the HD10 in the winter. For ones that don't get used in the winter time (ie. show tractors), I don't even make the change.
Multivis oil is fine, and unless you are really working them hard, I don't see why a 10w30 wouldn't be a good choice.
