Just got back from vacation but before I left I caught a reference in one of your posts that got me curious so I made a note to myself to contact you when I got back. The post referred to a Richard Lantis who was the son of an IH dealer and an expert on white demonstrators. Years ago I knew a fella briefly who falls under that description and lived in southern lower Michigan between Lansing and Stockbridge. Real nice guy and was a huge help to me when I bought my first IH tractor. I was familiar with newer tractors but was having a lot of second thoughts about buying an older one. He gave me tons of advice and even offered to help me work on it to get it going. I believe we talked on the phone only, never met him face to face and don't know how I came to know him. This was back around 2000-1 and he was feeling poorly and did not know why. I lost touch with him and half forgot his name until I read your post. I think it may be the same guy. Did this sound like the same guy to you? Could you tell me what came of him?
