georgeky said: (quoted from post at 23:18:44 12/27/07) I have never seen a H or SH that would pull with a good M. Hell my 350 won't and it is heavier than the M.
GeorgeKY, Come to Northern Indiana sometime this summer to a pull. Ill show you a H farmall that runs against Ms all the time! When we started pulling H's,, the laughs could be heard for miles!! Everybody said, that a H aint worth nothing for pulling. Until, the H started getting by em all, and became the tractor that could not be beaten,, and soon that phrase was no longer said.
The stock phrase is not possible. When you put in an overbore kit, even for that model, its no longer stock, when you put in stepped head pistons where it had flat tops, its not stock,,,, if you put on a new manifold, its not stock, if you put on electronic IGN its not stock,,,,, if you use high test fuel, its not stock.
The list goes on and on. Complaints go on and on,, But a great H,,, can whip on a good M if somebody takes the time and effort to try. Been there, and have done that though. JMHO. ChadS ChadS3@hotmail.com
