I was coming home yesterday, and right on my road, I see a guy on a red tractor with front blade. I came to a screeching halt and hailed him over..What was he drivin''?? A Farmall 140 in near new condition.!!! He lives five houses down the road from me, and I've never seen it before.! It's a beaut too. All red, all metal straight, everything. He said his dad built the plow mounting, and his dad bought it new in 1979. I think the date may be a little off.. But he's seen mine, and mine was painted yellow years ago, and is still that color. He said when his dad went to buy it at the dealer, it was yellow, but the old man wanted it red, so they repainted it (??!!??). Anyway, it's a beauty, and I'm sure he won't part with it for a while. In the meantime, I'm plowing my whole yard out...it finally snowed a little here in Southern Michigan. Now I'm waiting for more....gee
