Speaking of seat's.........

Would a seat and the pertaining hardware for it off of say a 460 bolt right over on a 400? Anyone try this? I'm curious because that one on the 400 is really quite worn and I don't want to fall off of it one of these days. Plus if I put it up now someday when I go to restore it after I've got all the use out of it (Looooonng time down the road) I could put it back on and make it original. I havn't looked at the two at all. Just noticed the post's below on seats and got me to thinking. Richie
