I just got an 0-12 and the clutch is stuck. Can you access the clutch under the steering box, and is there a coupling like a bulldozer that can be removed or do you have to split the tractor? My second question is, no matter where I place the mag advance/retard lever it seems like it is impulsing at the same place. The piece on the mag is turning but the mag never goes off like it should. I marked the crankshaft and the pulley to see which was advance/retard and it keeps impusing at the same place -- any ideas on what is wrong? The part that rotates on the mag is "indexed" with the two little teeth - I know it is just not turning on the body of the mag. After I get it working which way is advanced? If I take the mag off I see there are 4 bolts that hold the mag on and two in the coupling -- does the couping have to be marked or can it only go on two ways?
