I'll tell you what those two organizations, and this forum community have shown me. You guys will trip over each other to help one another out. And when these older gentleman see a young buck (in relative terms) like me take an interest in old tractors, look out. I've learned a lot of patience for listening. Because when these guys get started on talking aobut old iron, you will be there for hours. And I soak up every minute of it.
Heck, Saturday night at the EDGE&TA picnic I found two guys that basically live around the corner from me, and they said if they owner couldn't deliver it to let them know. They would be happy to take me up there to pick it up. I even have a piggy back ride to all the local events now!
