Hi folks, I want to get a rusty Farmall H block going today, I got a 55 gallon plastic barrel that I am going to use as a tank. Heres my question, how good does Arm and Hammer Baking soda work for this?, I have heard washing soda works better, but I don't have any of that on hand and don't think the local grocery stores even sell it. Ok, now how much should I use, I figgure I'll probably need to fill the barrel about half full, and I'm going to put the block in before I start filling it so there will be probably about 20-25 gallons of water in there, I don't think I want to fill it much over the top of the block. Would a 1 pound box of baking soda be enough?. OK, next question is what setting on the 12 volt battery charger should I use?, I got a 2 amp, a 10 amp, and then of course start. Thanks!
