Ok first off make sure that you scrub all the oil holes with a oil passager brush and real hot real soapy water and blow dry next install the bearings with out oil or grease then install the cap with a small pice of plastia gauge and toqur down and then remove the cap and check the clearance on the mains then clean off the plasta gauge and lube the mains with white engine assy. lube . I always pull the cam out a bit and realign the timming marks then set the oil pump to get the timming set on it then worry about the dist when i am done . The install the rods and pistons and plasta gauge them the same way then clean and lube and install the caps then the bottom is done and it is onward and upward.
