Nothing wrong with a 3.9...........I know it would certainly blow the IH 263 away in the power department. I'd like to put a 6AT3.4 Cummins in one, I put one in my pickup and it really runs good. 150 hp out of 210 cubes no sweat. Would work great in a tractor.
