I don't know anything about tractors but I recently purchased a house with 7 acres. About 4 acres will need to be mowed. I asked my Uncle about tractors and he said I should try to find a Farmall Cub. Well I have found one in a classified ad for $350 OBO including a 5 ft bushhog. I do not know the condition of the tractor other than it has new rear tires and the ad states minor repairs needed. What would be the worst case scenario in terms of $ to fix. Are there places that can work on these machines? I would be buying this to use and not to restore to like new condition. Any advice would be appreciated as I am trying to learn as much as possible so I can make an educated decision. My other option right now appears to be one of the new Kabota BX series tractors due out in early Spring yet the price is around $10,000. Please e-mail all advice to LAYank1861@aol.com Thanks, Michael Ilgenfritz
