There's a lot of things to consider when replacing an engine. These are just a few: motor mounts, flywheel accepting pressure plate, pilot bearing for transmission shaft, bell housing and I'm sure there's many more that I haven't listed. A bigger engine will create more heat and then the radiator may not be large enough. It may be better to put in an oversize sleeve kit and pistons, if it has sleeves. It's going to be a hassle if you swap engines. I put a V8 283 Chevy engine in a truck that came with a 6 cylinder. That was a hassle too, different motor mounts and drive shaft too short just to name few. Hal
