MagMan, Thanks for the input. I took the cover off of the magneto and i didn't see a coil in there so I guess I'm stuck with the conversion. This really isn't a problem because the tractor runs great the way it is set up. I guess the coil just happen to be at the end of it's lifespan. (Poor thing). Thanks again, MattMO
