Jerry: The simplest way to attack this problem is for you to cut and paste the url for the Cub Manual Server below into your browser. Once there go to the Maintenance Tips and Techniques link, then to the Lurker Carl's Carb Fixes. Read that. Then read the Blue Ribbon Service Manuals. You might be lucky and just have a carb adjustment problem, you might need a carb rebuild or you may need one of the above plus some tweaking of your governor. You might also want to read the Best of H.L. Chauvin whilst you are at the server. Hope this helps
