Ever buy a Farmall Tractor you wished you had never seen? I did sold a Farmall 560 standard to buy a 706 row crop. Gave the 560 away, bought the 706 at a sale supposed to be in good condition, looked good sounded ok! Gave $4800.00 got it home put it in the field after new tires were put on, 3point didn't work right, fixed , went back to field TA went out fixed that, lights shorted out , gas bowl leaked, Then the engine went bang! Bought a used engine out of a 806 supposed to be good got it in, it was shot. Seller said it was a used engine sorry! So had the block rebored, bought new piston set, new ring set, all new bearings,Head reworked, used clutch, pto drive shaft, seals and gaskets sets, and on and on $6000.00 dollars later it still in the shop and its spring if I could trade it back for the 560 I would jump for joy! No more 706's for me.
