His comment on "if it was a Ford" wasn't meant neccessarily as detrimental to the IH products. It's just that an IH vehicle will be limited as to the number of people who find it desirable, therefore keeping the price down somewhat even for a great original truck. Fords, on the other hand, are highly collected and sought after by many many MANY times more people than are IH's. So, if a person was to find a Ford of this vintage in this condition, the "value", or expected selling price, would be astronomical compared to the IH value. But, remember, when it comes to anything like this, it's worth exactly what someone is willing to pay for it. The trick is finding that someone who's willing to give the most.
