I'd think that it all depends on your 'goal' for the tractor. If you're just fixing it for yourself to use orputter around with, you've already got (I think) the Schwartz. If you're attempting (or might in the future) to go 100% factory, then go with the IH. Steer-ability is sort of out the window once you introduc power steering, I would think. I'm putting a schwartz WF on my 300 this weekend (if all goes well) as that's what I was able to find and at the right price. Had it been an IH unit, I'd have bought that. Of course, I'm not a stock restorer, just a fixer-upperer so that's my two bits. Zak
