Hi,someone else has already said this but my dad's first rule of cranking was ALWAYS PULL UP ON CRANK AND NEVER PUT YOUR THUMB AROUND THE CRANK HANDLE. This was from a man that had cranked my engines in his life not only tractors. Too many of his friends had suffered broken thumbs and broken arms. Be careful JB
