I will dubble check the thickness on the angle iron for you. Might be 1/3rd inch thick. I actually purchased the angle iron a year or so ago. I used that on my H when I did a bolster rebuild. They were to short for my 400 and could not adjust them. Thats when I got the idea for the plates and rods to make them adjustable. That way I can still use them on my H and 300.
