Hey Todd I have an old M that has a fasthitch from a 400/450 mounted on it and it works great. I have never had a situation where I could not hook up to an implement as of yet. I have a set of arms that slide into the fasthitch reciever that basically look like any other tractors lift arm with the ball socket. I know what your saying about "side sway" to ease the hooking up to the implement. Here's how I do it. I unlatch my arms so I can slide them out about 6 - 8 inches then back up close to whatever it is I am hitching to. With the arms slide out, you will be able to move them sideways, up, down, etc. Just hitch them up, back up till it clicks then connect your toplink... Get the picture..
