We had both 1566 and 1586, as said they are extremely powerful 2WD machines and great for all day heavy field work. If you looking for cheap power to run the grinder and big bush hog, pass, they are too heavy to manuver and the clutch does not like stop and go (learned that when we had our dozer blade mounted on both for a while). They truly seemed to be a step up in power over the 1466 and not a "turned up" 1466. Ours spent a lot of time pulling in 3rd low and we never really noticed the lack of a 4 speed. In my area (Kansas) they now seem to be selling really cheap, anywhere from $3500 to $7500 but never see them go any higher then that no matter how good. Don't try to substitute one for a 856 size tractor, they are just too heavy and cumbersome to do the same kind of work.
