Farmall 1206

I bought a 1206 about 3 weeks ago and have been running it some but it was cold outside, 10 degree's. When I started it up cold it blew some white smoke but went away when the engine warmed up some. Today I dumped about 10 gallons of fuel in it, winter blend, and ever since it blows white smoke terrible almost all the time, and it doesn't run that well. It was 60 degree's today. I was wondering if bad fuel would cause this, maybe water in the system?? Does winter blend cause problems like this? The guy I bought it from said it was sitting for about 5 months before he started it the day I bought it which makes me believe it had summer fuel in it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
