Just got a H, the previous owner had removed the points several years ago. Also got a box with three sets of used points etc in it. Purchased new point from the IH dealer yesterday.. Upon looking at the points, I noticed they are different from the ones in the box. On the new points #407018R91 the high part of the fiber rub block is away from the point end and on the old points the high part is close to the point end. Question, which points are correct or will they both work? Won't these different rub blocks really change the timing? I went back to the dealer today to ask but they only knew what the book said. Has anyone had this problem? Thanks
