Well, we had a foot of snow overnight and -12C with high winds..my cat told me it was bad out 'cause he wanted in about 3:00 A M.( he was let out at 2:59 A M) The radio came on at 6:30 and here's the scoop #4,8,23,21,89,6 all closed, 401 at London..3 tractor trailers piled up,402 bad visibility, all schools closed in our county and the counties south to Lake Erie, basically that's all the main highways in our region...Hugh MacKay will not be trucking logs to Durham or anywhere else today..I got to figure out how to get around the barriers to go do chores at the farm..OPP get ugly with you if they catch you on a closed highway. The wind has dropped in the last hour so hopefully by afternoon traffic will start to move. There's some back roads I can buck through to get the Bossys fed..this means blowing the drive and blowing the lane and yard at the farm..if I get there..stay safe and warm everyone....Mike in Exeter Ontario
