thanks for all the help on my "M", now i have a question on one of my H's. i wired it per the diagram one of the guys on the forum gave me. it has the voltage reg. on the generator. after i wired it i tried to start it. it cranked great but would not start so i thought it was fuel related, it was getting late and was not able to finish working on it. the next day it would not even crank. there was some black around the ammeter and the light switch. there might be a short or i have it wired wrong in the light switch box. could i have messed up my light switch? i'm going to charge my battery back up and put in a new ammeter (incase of short) could anyone explane to me what happen? and do you think everything is ok? thanks dave
