Hello all. I just purchased a new to me '68 424 with a bush hog and loader that I get to install and bring home this weekend. I have to replace the hoses on the loader, first. What all do I need to know about this tractor? I have a '48 8N back at my parent's place, and my day job is a mechanic, so I'm not totally lost when it comes to tractors or repairs. The PTO stage of what the gentleman called a two stage clutch is out. Is there a relatively simple adjustment for this, or does the tractor have to be split and the clutch replaced? If that's the case, I may just deal with it for a while. Are there any key things that I really need to know about this tractor? What size plow or bushhog could it handle in Tennessee clay? Thanks!
