Iron weeds usually arent a problem around here but you do see them sometimes and its always in areas where it isnt mowed or cared for. Mow the area once or twice a year and the iron weeds wont come back after a couple of years. I dont think any broad leaf weed killer would kill them but even if it did it would kill the rest of the broad leaf "weeds". They make good switches for hearding cows.
