THe linkage is open to binding on this model in two places. One is the link from the lever at the controls, to the governor. It needs to pull the governor control lever all the way when open, and all the way the other way when closed (forward). The other link is likely to be an issue. It is a rod link from the governor output arm (in front of the carb, abd behind the Gen) It is to be just long enough to hold the throttle wide open when the tractor is shut off, and the operator control lever (above) is all the way open. It should touch nothing but the two connections. JimN
