jack, if theres water in the fluids and its cold enough, ice crystals can form in the resevoir and when it tries to suck fluid through the screen/filter, the ice crystals can clogg the filter like dirt would do but depending on the amont of fluid, it could actually totally block the filter/suction line and lead to the problems you describe. If this is the cae, its gonna take at least a good day of pretty warm weather to warm up that resevoir and the castings that make it up. Hope you get her working...
