More problems discovered with my 42 Farmall H. Took the brakes apart today and found that the outer bearing on one side is pretty well gone. The ball locater is gone and a couple of the balls are also gone from the bearing. There are small pieces scattered throughout the transmission and I found 1/2 of a ball that had been worn down from rubbing on something. All of the gears look good - normal wear, but no chips or missing teeth. How much damage could there be that I am not seeing? Should I do the inner and outer bearings on both sides while it is apart? I know the seals where the brake drums go will need to be replaced for sure, one of them has worn a groove in the drum. Thanks for the help, hope I don't ask too many questions! Steven
