M hitch/drawbar spacer

Howdy Fellers,
I had mounted a new 3pt hitch to my '51 M, using the old hardware (mistake #1) from the drawbar mount. 2 years later and I'm the victim of Tired Iron -- the spacer on one side broke. That's the part that bolts to the axle bolsters, and then the hitch/drawbar bolted to it. It has the two short 3/4" swivel bolts fixed to it that the hitch or drawbar actually hooks to. Am I making any sense? At anyrate, the photo above is the item I'm talking about. My question is: Does anyone carry these items new, or am I better served by fabricating a new (simpler) mount just using some steel plate as spacers?
I already tried just mounting the hitch to the axle bolsters without any spacers -- didn't work, it's not set wide enough to clear the curve/flange where the bolster attached to the gear box.
If anyone out there can give me a little guidance, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks!
