I have owned an A farmall for 15 years. has always run like a top. However this spring she would not start. I gave her a tuneup, with points, plugs, condensor, wires, cap. Still not much of a spark. A very weak yellow spark. Do magnetos go bad? and how would you check one? The fuel and every thing else seems to be fine but the tractor will not fire. I am pulling my hair out because she always ran so good. Could someone please tell me what I might be overlooking. I did put a new coil in too. My guess would be the magneto went bad, could that be. Is there a test that I can preform on the mag to see if it is good? Any information would be appreciated, there just isnt that much to go wrong a such a relativly simple design such as this little four cylinder tractor. Thanks guys. Ron
