The all brown one---- $9500 The painted up one-----$8500. These are on E-bay now. It is said every Case dealer had one in front of his dealership in the late 30's. WW 2 caused a lot of them to go to scrap for the war effort. Loren--is this right?----Tee

If that is what they sell for, I wouldn't want to have it out in front of the house. Somebody sure to help themselves...bolted down or no.

I don't remember seeing those Eagles at any dealerships, but the one at the Case branch in Fargo was stolen right off of the roof. It was found in a garage over 30 years later. Guess whoever stole it couldn't figure out how to convert it to cash so they just abandoned it.

My father-in-law once had both a Case eagle and a White Oil eagle. The Case eagle is painted regular eagle's colors and the White Oil eagle is painted solid white. Also, the Case eagle has its head turned to the side while the White Oil eagle's head is straight forward.

Trivia.

When I first started hanging around here, they were for sale for $10,000.00, but I never saw one sell.

I think John Saeli said that dealers had to buy them from Case for their dealerships. I think the price was $300.

Saw 3 Old Abe's at the Florida Flywheelers today. Only 1 had a price tag on it. $15,000.00. Fifteen Thousand.
