Cattle vet. supplies

Who/what is a good source to order vet supplies from? I have mostly always got what I needed from a southern states dealer/tsc/rural king, occasionally from a vet.

Not many large animal vets around here that want new customers, and we have mostly always done our own work.

Id like a catalog(s) to order stuff from.....who is a good one you guys use?

I get my vaccines,tags,elastrator bands,etc from Valley Vet supply.

Valley Vet is good. I get mine from the local vet or the coop. Depending on your operation, you really need to find a vet that you can go to. Starting in January the 1st stage of the VFD starts. If you want anything in the medicated feed will need a Vet prescription. The next stage will be any antibiotic that you give in shot form. I'm not sure when that will start and I don't know if that includes preventative vaccines. Anyone that needs to treat a sick animal will need a vet's visit and prescription before they can medicate a sick animal. I've got to find a new vet because my old vet is retiring early because he doesn't want the hassle with the paperwork.

I agree with below on Valley Vet. You can order online and they will send a catalogue if you request.

Same here, Valley Vet for most mail order stuff.
So far I have been lucky. My Vet will either give me whatever I want or call in what I need as long as he has seen one of my animals in the last year. This year I needed to stock up on some scrip meds to have on hand and hauled one in for a basic health check just so I could meet the minimum requirements to get them. He's great.
