Got something in my inbox from [email protected] about an G700 LED flashlight that has a 700 lumen strobe mode that can disorient a threat. Supposed to be used by military and police and now available to the public. Has anybody seen this? Thought it may be a scam so I didn't click the link. It came to me as "Subscriber" but I didn't subscribe.

I don't think 700 lumens is gonna distract a serious threat TOO much, as that is less bright than a typical 60 Watt bulb. You don't suppose it's a SCAM, do you?

I am sure you are aware when you click on a link from an unknown source you are asking for a lot of trouble.

Why would you want to post a suspect link on the forum ? All you are doing is increasing the chances of it causing trouble . Perhaps you should consider deleting the link .

I recall reading about high intensity strobe light flashing devices used against an attacker, but doubt what you may get or not get via an e mail at a cheap price is a "quality" device. If I don't know I DELETE those.
