Farmall diesel block

What does it take to run a gas head on a diesel block? Found a md with a cracked head and bad pump that can be had very reasonably and was thinking puller.

I would think it would take a miracle. Are you trying to run it as a gas or diesel? The gas head wont have anywhere to put the injectors.

Gas. I thought i read somewhere thats how
the big motors stay together is using a
diesel block and cranks because theres 5
mains instead of 3?

Gas head won't fit on diesel block. Diesel engine is 1.5-2 inches longer
than gas engine. Five main gas blocks are three main blocks machined to fit
five main custom crank. Believe those are a Gary Baker product. Have never
seen engine in Dibble's Itty Bitty Binder,have heard it's a major rework of
diesel head.
