Farmall m stroker

I know its been asked before but for the life of me i cant find the post.
So what is the limit on a 4" bore block for stroke? I put new high dome pistons and sleeves in my m a couple years ago and it seems like a waste to throw them out. Would it be possible to stroke the crank to 5.75 or 6" and shorten rods to still use the stock pistons and sleeves?

So you want to run a 4" bore with up to a 6" stroke? That would be 301.6 cubes, so not bad.
Whether or not you can keep the stock pistons is probably a good question for whoever your bringing the crank to.

Have billet rods made to fit. Your looking at cam, rod and block clearance at 6 with stock rods. For what has to be done, I'd go bigger. Jmho.
