450 lp head

hi everyone I am doing a little work on my super w6. I was thinking about putting a 450lp head on. I have 4 1/8 inch step head pistons in now I was wondering if im going to have any problems with the 450lp head. to much compression or clearance issues. Thanks

I put a 450 lp head on my Super M last winter. It has 4" Firecrater pistons. I had plenty of clearance. If you want to add a little more bang for your buck, add Murphy's roller rockers. They'll give you a few extra hp over just the lp head.

If you want to add Murphy's rockers, you need to clearence the head in the push rod gallery's. Otherwise they will rub.
