Bunch Of Pictures From Medoc,MO Pull Yesterday

Yesterday was the first pull of the season for the Black Widow sled....It was held at the Sullivan Farm in Medoc,MO which is 15 miles north of Joplin..It was a warm sunny day with a temp around 80..There was a great turn out and probably well over 150 hooks...Medoc will have another pull on May 28th..

1-When Kelly Starbuck from Fredonia,KS shows up you are going to see 3 hard running MM's...The MM's were out in force yesterday with at least 10 there..

2-This is me getting 2nd place in the 5 MPH 6000 lb class..

3-Ben Brown heading for the for the corn field with his hard running big cube WC Allis..There was a corn field at the south end of the track..

4-Ross Potocnik from the Cherokee,KS area on his good running WC Allis..

5-Elmer Osterdyk from Jasper,MO on his nice running R MM...He purchased this a week earlier on the Long sale in OK....He used to run a 9 second drag bike at MoKan Raceway 5 miles to the west of where we were pulling....Elmer got a win his first time ever hooking to a pulling sled..

6-Kelly Starbucks hard running big cube U MM heading for the corn field at a fast clip..This U can run with anyone..

7-Nice running C Farmall..

8-Lee Wegner from Parsons,KS on a wheels up pass with his nice looking and running 20 Massey..I've know Lee since the 1970's..

9-Richard Walker on a hard running 460 Farmall..

10-Ben Brown on a 3 MPH Cockshutt 40....Ben was a busy guy pulling 4 different tractors in numerous classes..

11-Ben Brown on his UB MM....I hooked against his UB 3 times and he got me every time..

12-Ben Brown on his 460...Bens tractors are all tough..

13-Nice looking 3 MPH U MM from SE Kansas..

14-I don't know the owner of this good running UTS MM..

15-Albert Potocnik from Cherokee,KS on his hard charging D-17 AC in the 6000 Open just before it slipped in the low side of road gear....I have known Albert since the early 1970's thru tractor pulling..I used to pull a 856 IH against his 210 AC..

16-Kelly Starbuck coming down the track hard on his big cube GVI MM...

17-Larry Richard on his good running G JD..

18-I think this is Kenny Myer on his nice 3 MPH M Farmall..

19-Nice running 3 MPH 88 Oliver from SE Kansas..

20-I believe this is Ronnie Budd from Jasper,MO on his 3 MPH UTS MM that was purchased a week ago at the Long sale in OK....The old girl was strong enough to get the horn..

21-Dennis Lloyd from Verona,MO on his just finished 5 Star MM..


I have lots more pictures but had better stop for now..I hope the information is correct..If not please correct it..

What beautiful day tractor pulling thanks for posting pictures,we had good Sled,track,crew,crowd good friends ,makes for enjoyable day helps when you get 2 1st,,12second

You had the 460 running real good...I meant to come by and visit with you but the day got away...It was a fun day with a great bunch of people..

I can remember important things like tractor pulling-antique tractors-etc....Its the unimportant things like birthdays,wedding anniversaries,doctors appointments-etc that I seem to forget..Just kidding..
