black diamond truck head

Will a head off of a black diamond truck engine fit on a 301? I heard a silver diamond will, but dont know about Black diamond. What are the differances between silver and black diamond heads?

The silver diamond head is a straight valve head. It flows better and has more compression than the tractor head. The black diamond head I have in my shop is a tilt valve head and looks very much the same as the tractor head

The tractor head has a better port design with the tilted valves and will flow better.The truck head will give you more compression but that is all.
