G pistons for a John Deere power block

If you want to have the power to play be sure that your displacement calculates out to at least 800ci.

Ok should have asked you also if you have a power block piston if so you need to machine the top of the standard bore to match the profile of the power block so your G piston doesn't hit. I would also shorten the piston below the oil ring to the same length as the power block piston(below wrist pin), reason being the piston skirt comes mighty close to the oil pump drive shaft. Not sure what compression you want or what fuel your looking to run, do not use old G cast iron pistons as that will lower your compression. First A I built was only 7.5 X 6.125 and used standard bore G aluminum worked out well. Back of sleeves get pretty thin so need to be careful not to let rod drop as it will crack the sleeve. If want/need exact dimensions for machining I can help out with that too, drop me a line.
