Am curious how 15.5 compare to 18.4, both full cut, running 5500, 6500, and 7500 classes on the average clay track with identical tractors. What's the heaviest that's been done with 15.5s that you pullers have seen? Thanks for your thoughts...

depends on so many unknown factors, speed, power, toughness of track, chain length, drop pan sled, clay, softer sandy, silty, rpms,on and on,generally speaking 15.5 will be at a disadvantage after 5500.

Go to the tracks you want to pull at and look at what wins. At some tracks smaller tires prevail, believe it or not. At others, the larger ones prevail. Harder tracks = bigger tire. In my opinion, the 23 degree treads always win over 45 degree treads, and that's more important. I think a 23 degree firestone 15.5 will always beat a 45 degree 18.4.
